Ways to Treat Dog's Ear Infection

 

The first step is to consult the veterinarian. He will examine the ear, determine the cause and prescribe the treatment which essential. Then you should visit him for a re-check again. In additional there are some easy treatment that you can use. 

 

1. Ear Drops

                    

It is a instrument for ear treatment. Ear drops administered if the dog's ear drum is intact that the vet will check with his instrument and let you know.

2. Topical and Oral Antibiotics

You should be used in after your vet diagnosed of a bacterial infection. Before use it, make sure you have read the label and understand the medication. The ear should be cleaned and dried before use the antibiotic. The antibiotics have two types include topical antibiotic and oral antibiotic. Topical antibiotic such as Otomax.

3. Home Remedies

You can use easy home remedies that you can do at home without cousult a veterinary.

  • Distilled Water

It is a natural remedies that are a safer alternative. You can clean your dog's ears regularly with distilled water. 

  • Apple Cider Vinegar Recipe

Add 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar to a cup of water. Give it to your lovely dog at least 2 times a week. in addition you can store it in a clean jar or spray bottle for the next use.

  • White Vinegar

Use 50/50 solution of White Distilled Vinegar and water, Used a medicine dropper and filled the dog's ear with it, And rubbed that hollow area form the outside for a three seconds and let him shake the head to get the excess out.

  • The Blue Power Ear Recipe

Use 16 Oz. bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol, 4 Tablespoons of Boric Acid Powder and 16 Drops Gentian Violet Solution 1%. Mix it together in alcohol bottle and shake it. Wait until infalmmation has subsided which will be about 2 days. You should shake each time before use.
